ABOUT US-

Vision Statement-

Warren Park Presbyterian Church has always been a community church, and now in our ninth decade of history, we still want to serve our Lord in this community—that’s still our heart throb. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world—that’s our passion. Christ has changed our lives and given us a reason to live and hope, and we want to share that with our community—that’s our goal.

Purpose-

We believe the purpose of Warren Park Presbyterian Church is to preach Jesus Christ crucified and risen, so people find salvation; to help Christians grow in their understanding of God through the Word; to be a place of worship, fellowship, evangelism, service, support and care for the congregation and our community.

Statement Of Faith-

We believe that the Bible is the authoritative Word of God, beyond all authorities, and that we are called to proclaim its good news in word and deed. This good news is that God loves us and sent Jesus Christ, His only Son, to tell us about His love with absolute certainty, and to demonstrate it by His death on the cross—“For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (Gospel of John 3:16).

But God went beyond that, and raised Him from the dead on the third day, proving that He is Lord of this universe, and worthy to be worshiped. Even though Christ went away after His resurrection to prepare a place for us, He will come back to take us to that wonderful place He has prepared. In the meantime, God has given the Holy Spirit to keep reminding us of what the Lord Jesus taught us, and to keep assuring us that He is coming again. So we want to be faithful in our community where He has placed us until Christ comes again.
